LCARSP members were recently invited by the Lincoln County R-III District to attend a presentation hosted by Ms. Jeannie Riddle, Missouri State Senator from the 10th District. She was joined by Sen. Karla Eslinger from the 33rd District. This presentation was held September 7, at Boone - Lincoln Elementary School auditorium with 4th grade students from the district also in attendance.
Senator Jeanie Riddle and 11 other female senators have written a children’s book to promote reading and encourage children to follow their passions.

Sen. Riddle and Sen. Eslinger spoke about writing the book with other female senators and gathering the information from all the 36 women Senators who have served in the Missouri Senate since the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920. They spent time answering questions from the students, many revolving around Senator Riddle’s service dog, Gracie.
