Craft Group

The LCARSP Craft Group loves learning how to make a variety of crafts including sewing, stamping, ornament making, crocheting, wood painting, etc.  The last two years, we have made enough items from projects to be the main fundraiser to support our unit's Classroom Grants Program.
If you are a crafter or think you would like to learn a new skill, we meet in the morning on the first Tuesday of the month at the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Meeting Room, 1112 East Cherry Street in Troy.  (No Meetings in January and February.  Work on your own projects in the warmth of your own home.)  We also do lunch after our meetings! Why not join us?  Email us at lcmoarsp@gmail.com or talk to one of the crafters to have your name added to our email list.

To be sure we have enough material for everyone, it is very important that everyone in the group give a "courtesy response" a few days prior to each craft meeting so we know who IS or IS NOT planning to attend.  (We know things come up, after all we ARE retired!)  This just gives those planning an idea of needed supplies.

Tuesday, March 1st was a cold and cloudy day outside but inside, eight LCARSP members met and made warm flannel receiving blankets for the local crisis nursery.
